The right approach to candidates is critical to a successful search. FutureHire Group never delegates this activity to the supporting team. The consultant working the engagement will use skill and finesse to present the opportunity to targeted candidates so they are interested to enter the assessment process. The consultant will also be able to effectively address any questions or concerns about the opportunity relative to the candidates own career and prospects within the client organization. Managing long-term candidate relationships and ensuring a professional dialogue with them during the search process greatly increases our chances of attracting the best talent to our clients.
Assessment
FutureHire Group is diligent when evaluating and presenting short-listed candidates to make sure we are presenting the best talent for the opportunity. Consultants take a competency-based approach when interviewing candidates. During the initial screening process, we perform a short narrative interview to understand the candidates experience, knowledge, functional skill set and career achievements. Successfully screened candidate are invited for a meeting with the consultant to learn more about the opportunity and have a competency-based interview. The competency-based interview focuses on how the candidates gained their experience and achieved success. These questions can help consultants learn about the candidate’s behavioral characteristics, ability to perform, demonstrate leadership and provide insight if the candidate can adapt to the client’s organization and culture. Examples from a candidate's professional record allow consultants to better predict whether he or she will thrive when challenged with specific performance requirements. Further assessment can be done through psychometric testing and or culture fit assessment, using online leadership or behavioral questionnaires. Further validation through extensive formal and blind referencing is the final complement to validate the consultant’s recommendation.
